About Us

Not Just Another Employment Law Firm

History

We founded Fair Work P.C. in 2013. Our goal was simple: to provide employees with high quality legal representation. Having long advocated for employees in a variety of contexts — everything ranging from individual discrimination cases to complex wage-and-hour class actions encompassing hundreds of employees — we know that employers often bring enormous resources to bear in order to protect their legal interests. With Fair Work P.C., we hoped to level that playing field by helping employees better understand their workplace rights and by affording employees access to experienced and passionate counsel. Fair Work P.C. is now coming up on its fifth year anniversary. In that time, we've helped hundreds of workers recover millions of dollars in damages, and we've expanded from a two-person operation to a team of five lawyers.

steve@fairworklaw.com

Steve has been practicing employment law for over 20 years, and has been rated a Massachusetts "Super Lawyer" since 2005. He is driven to hold employers accountable for their failure to follow the law and treat employees fairly. He has successfully handled all types of employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, misclassification, severance negotiations, wrongful denial of employee benefits, unpaid wages, and more. Sometimes these types of cases can be resolved quickly, when all parties come to the table. Other times, they take years of intense litigation, leading not only to trials but to multiple appeals. Steve is equally comfortable at all of these stages, from counseling and negotiating, to trials, to appeals.
